An interesting survey done years ago. It asked unchurched people what would be the
one thing that would most encouraged them to select aparticular church. The highest
factor by far was the Pastor. The factor was substantially more important to those
unmbelievers than the denomination, the facilities, the friendliness, the church programme,
the doctrines and even whether they have friends who go there it is dtill true
today.
It is mandatory that we have a proper grasp of the dynamics of growth as church leaders. This
foundation is very salient if we are to see true and durable growth in our churches and ministry. For
